FAQ
Net Metering, explained.
Does a net-metered system work during a power cut?
No. On-grid inverters shut down automatically when the grid fails so no power flows into lines being repaired (anti-islanding). If you need backup, choose a hybrid system instead.
What happens to surplus units I export?
Exported units are credited against the units you import and settled as per the prevailing HERC regulations for your DISCOM. We size systems so that almost all generation is used against your own consumption.
Who handles the net-meter application?
We do. Kesri Enterprises manages the full DISCOM process — application, documentation, inspection and meter installation — as part of the turnkey scope.
